RADIO BROADCAST WiM Member Rosemary Duxbury says she is " thrilled to have my music selected for “Viva 21st Century” a live radio program curated by Marvin Rosen in the USA.

" The piece, “Light” (2021) is for solo piano and is my latest composition, recently recorded by Patricia Siffert. It hasn’t been performed or broadcast before so this will be the first time it is heard publicly!

" “Light” will be played on Thursday 30 Dec between 13.00-16.00 Eastern time. (For Internet listeners link to excellent Time Zone Converter: You can listen on the radio in NJ, parts of PA, Delaware and NY at: WPRB 103.3FM Princeton NJ, or on the Internet at:

" Please join Marvin for his 17th Marathon and the 16th devoted to 21st century music from the last 15 years. It really is an incredible broadcast feat and a wonderful way to discover music being written today around the world. It will begin on Thursday, December 30th at 10:00 am (EST time) and will go non-stop, live, until 10:00am Friday, December 31st, 2021.

Approximately over 100 new works with an approximate equal representation of both men and women composers (hence 50/50 subtitle) will be broadcast during this 24 hour long event."

Marvin Rosen has a mixcloud and the marathon should eventually be there in stages.

My deepest apologies to Rosemary for posting this late. Please check her on facebook and  Do still tune in for other female composer gems. Debbie Golt posting this
