Maddalena Laura Sirmen - String Quartet No. 5 - Aris Quartet - BBC Proms - Monday 12 August - 1 pm

The Aris Quartet, BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists, will be performing Maddalena Laura Sirmen's String Quartet No. 5. Sirmen, also known as Maddalena Lombardini, was an 18th century Italian violinist and student of Tartini, and a brilliant composer as you will hear.

Her String Quartet No. 5 is performed at Cadogan Hall tomorrow, Monday 12 August at 1 pm.
